TRAINING PURPOSE

DAC’S virtual classes will familiarize participants with proper fitness training methodology, teach participants specific exercise techniques, and increase the general fitness level for all participants. Participants will learn safe and effective techniques of functional movements that have a direct correlation to decreasing their limitations and increasing their work capacity; thus increasing their independence and quality of life.

ADAPTIVE EXERCISE & STRENGTHENING WITH LEON

This session will focus on adaptive exercises for individuals who perform most of their tasks from a seated position (i.e., wheelchair) or those with neuromuscular and neurological conditions (i.e., stroke). Equipment provided by DAC may be available upon request. Registration is required in order to participate.
