Operation Ability Adaptive Sports and Leadership Training is a 3-day program introducing veterans and active duty service members to a range of adaptive and outdoor sports.
Participating veterans and service members have been injured or have a disability that can include amputations, spinal cord injuries, PTSD, traumatic brain injury, physical disabilities, blindness or deafness.
Included in the last day of their leadership training is an opportunity to implement the skills they learn as they interact with local children, youth and adults who live with a disability. This experience demonstrates ways in which these veterans can connect to their community and implement similar programs when they return home.
With your help we can conduct Operation Ability as well as offer outdoor sports experiences throughout the year including horseback riding, archery, climbing and cycling.
Thank you for supporting our vets.
